GCAP Performance specialise in the Vauxhall and VXR range. However we offer performance upgrades, engine tuning, styling and general mechanical work for all types of vehicles as well.
Owner and founder Gary Conway is a car enthusiast before all things. He has a passion for all things automotive, in particular, engine performance. He has owned and built a number of high performance track and show cars, featured in many automotive magazines and even appearing on televesion.
Gary Conway comes from a family of well respected automotive figures. His father being a well known figure in the automotive industry with his company, Air and Sound, taking it from a small garage in West London fitting car alarms, to building demo vehicles for one of the biggest car audio manufacturers in the world, Clarion, and going on to building vehicles for customers as far as Russia and South Africa. With this wealth of knowledge behind him it was inevitable Gary would follow suit in the automotive trade. After several years studying Motorsport Engineering and equipped with experience working with a major racing company within the BTCC, Gary founded GCAP Performance. GCAP is not one man however. Alongside Gary, the team consists of an ex-Holden race engineer from Australia, a leading auto-electrician who specialises in can-bus wiring and diagnostics and an ex-Royal approved Jaguar engineer.
Based in Notting Hill, West London, GCAP Performance has an extremely well equipped, modern and uniquely clean facility which gives you peace of mind, knowing that your vehicle is going to be looked after from the minute it arrives, to the moment you collect it.
Our state-of-the-art facilities holds our vast array of Snap-On tools, multiple types and styles of lighting and up to date diagnostic systems from leading manufacturers.
For your car's protection, and for ours, we are fully insured for all cars that enter our workshop - including for accidental damage and for theft/vandalism. Our policy covers us for all cars; be the value low or extremely high (many millions of pounds).We have a 24 hr recorded CCTV system and a full workshop alarm system, it's safe to say that your car's security is of our prime concern. We pride ourselves on our clean, safe and modern premises and are confident you will be happy to leave your pride and joy in our hands.
GCAP can cater for all your needs - whether it be aftermarket bolt on performance parts, to a full custom built exhaust systems and intercoolers. Our knowledge, experience and facilities means we can offer a reliable, honest and excellent service to all our customers.
We work closely with several companies in order to ensure our customers recieve the best quality work and products. SM Tuning writes all of our remaps in house at our workshop, and we teamed up with Dyno Developments to have exclusive use of their rolling road at their HQ in Stevenage.
